I have missed painting so much, even though it has only been three days…. and since the last three days, I have painted, but have not posted the paintings as they are not yet finished. So today we went to Ottawa, with two of my very good old friends… we have known each other for about 35 years — Céline & Hélène ;-) We went to see the Van Gogh Exhibit at the National Gallery of Canada, and it was wonderful as it spanned over two years of his life where he painted “non-circles” and where he really tried to represent nature as it is… without too much fuss.
On avait le choix de manger au musée ou de prendre une petite marche de 10 minutes et se rendre au Marché. Au resto Memories nous nous sommes arrêtées et en revenant nous avons pris le sentier pédestre… que j’ai peint. La luminosité était très belle, ainsi que la nature. Je n’ai pas osé peindre mes deux chums car le sentiment de complicité entres elles aurait été envahi…. je ne sais pas vraiment comment dire, mais ce n’aurait pas été approprié…
