I lost my job as an art salesman. It was the customer’s fault. He wanted to buy the wrong paintings.

This is Labour Day weekend and it’s a 3-day weekend which permitted me to draw today… Here is my bouquet of flowers for you on this rainy, humid and quiet day as autumn is just around the corner. The swallows have already left, the blackbirds are slowly returning south and flying over our heads, the goldfinches are turning brown, the chipmunks have their mouths full of seeds, the squirrels are returning, the brook is slowly filling up and the drier tree leaves are rustling in the wind. Autumn is on the way!

Jane: This is truly a most beautiful drawing – I can’t imagine the patience it took to accomplish this – you are definitely a most talented artist. MOM >
