:: A journey across the halls ::

“Silence is the sleep that nourishes wisdom.”
— Sir Francis Bacon

On Friday as I was walking in the hall at my College I saw this girl and her expression stopped me… I looked at her very closely. She did not smile back, did not acknowledge my nod, nothing… and it troubled me as I wondered if she was ok. Her expression stayed with me and I decided to draw her from memory… and as you have guessed, yes our memories do fail us or play tricks on us. No matter, the intensity of her gaze was what was important for me to capture.
