Blue moon you saw me standing alone
Without a dream in my heart
Without a love of my own
Blue moon, you knew just what I was there for
You heard me saying a prayer for
Someone I really could care for
And then there suddenly appeared before me
The only one my arms will ever hold
I heard…
— Billie Holiday
Not a drawing of a blue moon but of a small hand-crafted wood lamp that actually prevented me from watching the moon last night by shedding its warm soft glow on the outside window. I will check her out tonight so hoping for clear skies.

You surely dedicated a lot of time in the drawing of this lamp which is very lovely. Would you believe that I know this Song Blue Moon as well as the words. I learned it while in the Glee Club in Detroit. MOM >
