:: November day ::

“The high value put upon every minute of time,
the idea of hurry-hurry as the most important objective of living,
is unquestionably the most dangerous enemy of joy.”

— Herman Hesse

During the month of November it rains, it snows, there are days of sunshine and cloudy days that add a touch of grey in the atmosphere that I feel thankful for. My grandfather used to say that it was the month of the dead, but to me it is a month of contradictions — between resting, preparing for the holiday festivities and getting over the hurdle of correcting student projects, it is a month of change… from autumn to winter. Changes are about to happen as the slow November month turns into the festive month of December and its shortest day of the year! So here is a dreary and beautiful little hamlet of warmth and rest — just behind my cosmetician’s business.
