:: Inktober 6 Sword ::

Beneath the rule of men entirely great
The pen is mightier than the sword. Behold
The arch-enchanter’s wand! itself a nothing!
But taking sorcery from the master-hand
To paralyze the Caesars, and to strike
The loud earth breathless! Take away the sword;
States can be saved without it!

— Lytton

I used the Hero 573 Fube Nib as it is a highly flexible tool. It can make very fine lines (when you use the fountain pen upside down) and if you draw at an angle, creates very thick lines. It is also a flexible nib meaning that be pressing on the nib, more ink flows out which makes drawing with one pen only ideal. I really liked using it today, even though it does take some time to get used to it. It is a very heavy fountain pen though, so for those of you who like drawing “light” this is not your pen.
