The weather has been quite dreary lately… it is colder than usual and we have had but a smithering of snow in the past few days. However, the skies are magnificent. They seem to have a tinge of pink, even on grey days, that make them fabulous! I love this Einstein quote as I think that he is so right. In all of the facets of life, it seems that people lack imagination and that is a very sad thing. So develop your imagination, and you will develop your talent and your true calling.

La température a été très grise ces derniers temps … il fait plus froid que d’habitude et nous avons eu qu’une parcelle de neige pour égayer nos derniers jours. Par contre, les ciels ont une couleur magnifique! De ce temps-ci, il y a une teinte de rose dans le ciel qui rend le ciel magnifique! J’aime tellement cette citation d’Einstein. Dans tous les aspects de la vie, il semble que les gens manquent d’imagination et ceci est une chose bien triste. Développez votre imagination et vous allez développer votre talent et votre véritable vocation.

Today I received a really nice postcard from my painting friend Mai — she made a request to her painting friends about sending each other Christmas Postcards, and this is the one that she sent to me. It is quite beautiful. Mai has this quality as a watercolorist of painting beautiful portraits. So here it is and if you would like to see what she does, you can look on her blog to see her wonderful paintings. I will be painting for her postcard in about 2 weeks time, once the semester is over. Just hope that she gets it on time for Christmas. Thanks Mai -)

Aujourd’hui j’ai reçu une carte postale peinte par mon amie Mai. Elle a fait une demande à ses amis peintres de s’envoyer des peintures format cartes postales, et voici celle qu’elle m’a envoyée. Elle est vraiment belle. Mai a cette qualité en tant qu’aquarelliste de peindre de magnifiques portraits. Si vous aimeriez voir ce qu’elle fait, vous pouvez regarder sur son blog pour voir ses magnifiques peintures. Je vais peindre sa carte postale dans environ deux semaines, une fois la session terminée. Merci Mai!
