Majestic Oaks :: Chênes majestueux

Live in each season as it passes;
breathe the air, drink the drink, taste the fruit,
and resign yourself to the influences of each.
— Henry David Thoreau

At my work there are many great oak trees and they are shedding their acorns and the squirrels are scurrying to gather and store them. There is alot of to and fros going on with the squirrels at the moment. In order to produce large crops of acorns these great oaks must be 45-50 years old!… so I am in a bit of awe with these majestic oaks.
