:: No man is an island ::

No man is an island,
Entire of itself,
Every man is a piece of the continent,
A part of the main.
If a clod be washed away by the sea,
Europe is the less.
As well as if a promontory were.
As well as if a manor of thy friend’s
Or of thine own were:
Any man’s death diminishes me,
Because I am involved in mankind,
And therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls;
It tolls for thee.
— John Donne, Scottish Poet, Satirist, Lawyer, Priest (b. 1572)

I wonder how many people still think like John Donne in 2014? A good way of keeping the colours in your eyes is to do a colour chart to acquaint ourselves with one’s own colours. This was a good way of giving a finale on my last page of my Stillman & Birn sketchbook.

Une bonne façon de rester en contact avec nos couleurs est de créer une charte de couleurs. J’ai pensé que ça serait une bonne façon de terminer mon carnet Stillman & Birn.
