Hake, Flat & Rigger

What they call talent is nothing but the capacity for doing continuous work in the right way. (Winslow Homer)

I painted today with three brushes. A japanese 1″ hake brush to put in the sky wash, then a 1″ flat in which I painted the foreground and then a #3 rigger which permitted me to create the long plant tendrils. Very simple.

Paper: Bockingord CP 8″ x 5″
Colours: Q. Gold, Burnt Sienna, Burnt Umber, Alizarin & Cobalt
