Skies :: Ciels

Lately the skies in Quebec are outstanding… big fluffy clouds, with all kinds of colours moving through them. I was wondering if it is the time of the year, or is this year an exceptional year for clouds? Can that be? I therefore bought the book: “Skies in watercolour” by Ron Ranson. So here are a few of the exercises that he gets us to do to start understanding the different types of clouds and how to paint them. From left to right, top to bottom.
