Snake Plant :: Plante serpent

Sanseveria plants are more commonly known as Snake Plants or Mother in Law plants and they are amazing… they hardly need any water or light and they thrive in very poor conditions. They are known for filtering formaldehydes… which are found in cleaning products, toilet paper, etc. In China, it is known as Tiger’s Tail Orchid. In Japan, it is called Tiger’s Tail. In Brazil, it is called Espada de Sao Jorge (Sword of Saint George) and in Turkey it is known as Paşa Kılıcı or the pasha sword. In Nigeria it is known as Ogoun and is used in the ritual to remove the evil eye. In Africa, it is used as a protective charm against evil or bewitchment.

Today was very exciting for me as I received a new fountain pen and new ink, and I have fallen in love. I am sure that this duo will be with me in the near future. The ink colour is warm and dark and the fountain pen glides as if it was soaked in butter. I am a happy woman!
